There are a lot of options, but the good part is that the UI isn’t confusing at all. Even as a first time user, you can navigate your way around the platform quite easily.
The process of ordering a shoutout from Shoutcart is similar to ordering a product from Amazon. Once you add it to your cart, you just need to add money, and place your order.
After an order is complete, you get to review the influencer. Similarly, the influencer also gets to give their review about working with you.
The entire responsibility of creating the content for the influencer marketing campaign rests with you. That way, you get full control over the final published content. Throughout the process, you don’t interact with the influencer directly.
It’s a very transactional interaction.
Simply put, you tell Shoutcart what you are looking for and give them the money. On your behalf, they reach out to the influencer you want to work with and get the shoutout for you.
After you send them a request, influencers get 72 hours to accept your proposal and post their shoutout. During this time period, Shoutcart sends them multiple reminders to check your order.
If they fail to take action, Shoutcart decreases their “Success %.” Since it is visible on every influencer profile on Shoutcart, it affects the influencer’s credibility.
In case the influencer doesn’t respond within 72 hours, you can cancel your shoutout order as well. That way, you can get a refund of your money into your account.

What Are Influencer Packages on Shoutcart?
Shoutcart also offers the “Influencer Packages” option for those who would like to work with multiple influencers at once. Using this feature, you can order shoutouts in bulk for a particular category.
As you can see in the screenshot below, you can sort results based on:
- Success %: Takes into account consistent posting history
- CPM: Takes into account cost per 1k followers reached
For each niche package, you can see the average reach, social media engagement, and likes per post. They also show you the average success percentage for the group. You also get to see the list of influencers that you can work with if you opt for that package.
In addition to this, you can see the price for a two-hour post along with the content type offered by the package.
Since all the influencers for a niche are grouped together already for you, you don’t need to invest time in reaching out to each one individually. You get everything ready, served on a platter!
This can save you a lot of time and hassle.
You can’t edit these packages. If there is one influencer in the list that you’d rather not work with, you can’t delete them from the list.
It’s either all or none.
Shoutcart Review: How to Create a Campaign On Shoutcart
Now you know what Shoutcart is about and how the platform works. Let’s move on to the next stage — Shoutcart review.

Before we begin, let’s clear one thing up:
My Shoutcart review is based on the ease of use, functionality, pricing, and other features offered.
Ready for the review?
Let’s create a campaign of our own on the platform and see what the process of getting an Instagram shoutout is like.
Step 1: Select Your Preferences
For this Shoutcart review, I have chosen Instagram as the influencer platform of my choice. In categories, I have selected “Fitness.”
Step 2: Select an Influencer Profile or Page From the List
Let’s say, my goal is to reach the largest number of people possible via this campaign. So, I’m selecting the profile with 1.3 million followers.
Step 3: Check Their Key Metrics and Description
When I click on the profile from the dashboard, I’m redirected to their detailed profile page. At the top, you can see their follower count and success rate.
In addition to this, the Shoutcart score is also listed.
This score can give you an idea about the authenticity of the engagement you can get by collaborating with the influencer. Shoutcart’s algorithm updates this score daily. It ranges from 0-10, with 10 being the highest.
For this review, I am moving ahead with the chosen profile despite it not having a satisfactory Shoutcart score.
There is also a tiny orange box that is labeled, “+ bio link.” This shows that this influencer profile is willing to share a link of your choice on their profile for an additional fee.
Additionally, you can see a short description added by the influencer page to introduce themselves.
Step 4: Thoroughly Check Demographics and Statistics
If you scroll down, you’ll also see details about the influencer profile or page. This includes demographics provided by the influencers. From the onset, Shoutcart mentions that they do not verify these demographics themselves.
In the statistics column, you can see the average likes and comments they received based on their track record during the last 30 days.
Step 5: Check the Pricing For Different Types of Shoutout
The influencer list in the dashboard lists only the price for only two-hour shoutouts. But on the Shoutcart, you have a lot more options.
You can also opt for 12-hour shoutouts, permanent shoutouts, IG story shoutouts, and more. In this section, you can see the pricing for all types of shoutouts that they offer.
Let’s select the two-hour shoutout for this review.
Step 6: Check Out Related Influencers
If you scroll to the bottom, you find another option that shows you related influencer profiles based on the criteria you have chosen.
Through this option, you can directly add any related influencers that you like to your campaign.
Step 7: Add Influencer/s to Campaign
If you are satisfied with the key metrics, pricing, and statistics, it’s time to seal the deal. Click on the “Add to Campaign” button.
For multiple influencers, you can choose, “Add Related Influencers to Campaign.”
When you select this option, you’ll see the following pop-up.
Let’s click on “Checkout” to set up our campaign.
Step 8: Check Your Campaign Summary
To ensure that you haven’t selected any wrong options, double-check the chosen options in your campaign summary.
Once you are satisfied that everything is fine, click on “Next Step.”
Step 9: Add Campaign Details
In this step, we can add any caption that we want the influencers to post on their profile.
Shoutcart clearly states that influencers publish the captions exactly as they are given in this dialog box. So, it’s probably a good idea to double-check for any typos or formatting issues.
You can add up to 30 hashtags for an Instagram post in your Instagram post caption.
After that, you can upload an image or video that you want influencers to add. There, you can add only one file that is equal to or less than 150 MB.
I’m adding a random image and caption to create the campaign for the review.
Step 10: Add Details Regarding Schedule and Notifications
If you want influencers to have a say in the final published post, you can allow them to propose edits. As you can see in the screenshot below, there is a tiny box that you can check to select this option.
If you add a tick mark to this option, influencers will be able to suggest changes to your publishing time, caption, and the image or video file.
However, all their suggestions will need to be approved by you.
This option is great if you are not on a tight schedule and have enough time to rework your content.
Next, you can add the preferred date and time for publishing the post. By default, the settings are for Pacific Standard Time (PST).
You can also add your email address where you’d like them to send your receipt.
Step 11: Review and Submit Your Order
That’s it, we’re almost there.
The only thing left to do is to review the post, time, and all the other added details. When you click on “Submit,” Shoutcart creates an invoice for you.
You can also edit or delete the invoice if you want.
If you want to move forward, just add a tick mark on the given box to show that you agree to their terms of service and refund policy.
It’s important to note that Shoutcart allows you to pay only via Shoutcart Balance. So, make sure you have enough balance in your account before you create a campaign.
In this section of the Shoutcart review, let’s take a look at some of the common questions that users might have about the platform.
Q1. What can you do if your shoutout’s status has been pending for a long time?
A. While creating a campaign, you’ll have added your preferred publishing time. Influencers can take up to 72 hours after your chosen time to publish the post.
Typically, your shoutout should get published at or around the time you’ve set during the checkout process.
After 72 hours, if the influencer does not complete your order, you can cancel your order and get an automatic refund to your Shoutcart balance.
If there are any issues, you can also get in touch with Shoutcart’s support team. They will help get a refund.
However, if the campaign status changes from “pending” to “running,” you cannot get a refund.
Q2. Can you withdraw money back if you’ve added it to your Shoutcart account?
A. You can’t withdraw partial funds from your Shoutcart account. Once added, you will need to spend the funds on shoutouts in the future. However, if you want the entire amount refunded due to influencer inactivity, their team may make an exception.
Q3. Can you add links in the caption that you order?
A. Instagram doesn’t parse the links in image captions. Instead, Shoutcart recommends that you add your username in the caption and add a link to the bio section. You could also opt for a Story with a Swipe Up placement.
Q4. There seem to be some influencers with fake followers on the platform. How can you avoid them?
A. The platform assigns a special Shoutcart score for each influencer profile. This is partially designed to discredit an influencer’s fake followers. A high Shoutcart score indicates that those influencers can drive strong engagement and results.
Q5. What is the minimum spend requirement on Shoutcart?
A. The minimum spend requirement on Shoutcart is $100. Below this threshold, the platform does not grant any refunds.
Q6. Can you send messages to influencers through the Shoutcart platform?
A. Currently, Shoutcart does not offer an option to directly message an influencer from within the platform.
However, their team revealed that they are working to add this feature to the platform soon. It is being tested with some selected brands already.
Shoutcart Review: What’s the Final Verdict?
One of the biggest problems with influencer marketing for brands is that there is no fixed pricing structure. While you may be paying $300 for a post, your competitor might be paying lower than that for a similar post.
Everything boils down to your negotiation skills.
In such an obscure environment, Shoutcart tries to bring in some structure. Their platform makes sure that everyone who registers on the platform can see the pricing for each influencer easily.
What’s more, you can begin with as little as $10 in your pocket. That’s a big win for small businesses looking to get more visibility with a tiny budget.
You can even get access to mega-influencers easily and collaborate with them for a shorter time to make the campaign pocket-friendly.
Shoutcart’s focus on affordability is commendable.
However, it must be noted that the responsibility of doing a thorough background check on influencers rests with the brand. Even though Shoutcart shows key metrics related to an influencer on their profile, they are not verified by them.
Since it is an influencer marketplace, that’s understandable. In this Shoutcart review, I am not going to hold it against them.
In a nutshell, Shoutcart is a place that aims to simplify influencer marketing for brands. With the influencer package feature, it becomes incredibly easy to run multiple campaigns without investing too much time.
